Default Cusco suspension

Ok this is my first post as a scooby owner so heres a question for you.

We have Cusco coilovers on our classic but its extremely hard for day to day driving, we have adjusted them but its made no difference .

We have decided to switch them to Tien Coilovers (we think) but would be also need to get new top mounts aswell and if so would standards do the job?

or does anyone have some laying around

Tien will probably be just about as hard, and a new set of coilovers would usually come with top mounts, particularly if they won't go with the standard ones.

I have ordered the tien , they came with or without mounts, had them with.
I am hoping they wont be as hard, the discreption was and switch from day to day road use to the track or mountain. so fingers crossed.

I've been looking into this recently and from what I hear most Jap suspension is over damped for smooth japanese roads which makes it a bit stiff for us in the uk.

But good luck

Actually pls post how you find it I'd be interested

Well we decided we had a few hours to spare to fit the Tien's on today and so far they are great we still have to connect up the Electronic Damping force controller once thats done we can switch automatically from road to track with a switch of the button.
But as far as the ride goes its excellent , 100% better without a doubt.

Tien comes highly recommended by us.

Little tip for EDFC fit back motors before fitting suspension on the back as its a tight fit.

Nothing has been adjusted yet, but the book values are 4.0 kgf/mm on the front and 3.0 kgf/mm on the back
