STi V8 springs on to bugeye WRX struts..

... does this fit or do I need to get the STi struts? If I need the struts, is this a straight swap or do I need other parts too?

My car is the 2001 WRX bugeye.

02MY STi springs will fit an 01MY WRX so yes STi V8 springs will fit. If you mean 03MY STi then the answer is no as the rear topmounts are different.
