I got Eibach's on MY03 WRX, ride is loads better on cornering, etc, but is not too firm.
I would hate a hard ride, but i am impressed with these. Being a progressive spring makes them ideal really. The only thing with Eibachs, and this affected the earlier springs more than now, is you can get a slight knocking with them, there are loads of threads on here about it if you search for it. Mine have now settled well, but still knock on roads that look fine, yet for some reason just make it knock ever so slightly. Not enough to bug you or get concerned about.
The Prodrive kit is an almost identical spring, but you also get new bumpstops in that kit too i believe.
Pricewise Eibachs are cheaper than Prodrive, but again, preference is upto you.
There are loads that swear by both on here.
But i have had my car modified and i have to say this was one of the best mod's i had done. It removes all that wallowy feeling you get under cornering, etc.

I think your right - although it's not so much an installation issue as much as the springs don't sit as well inthe cup. i have this when i got my Eibachs so wrapped the lower coils in tape. It didn't take the noise away completely but has helped quite a bit.

Exactly, if you are a B road demon and like back roads I wouldnt even lower the std height much. prodrive springs max.
My sti is on std springs and to be honest I wouldnt want to lower it at all from std, some go -30mm from sti height and wonder why they bottom out on the bump stops and ground out on the rough stuff.

I am very pleased with prodrive springs.
I agree that the maximum they lower is no more than 25mm. The front is definately lower. But it really seems to lower the back of an sti. It does not stick up like a cats tail so much.
