Just had my MY00 in for wheel alignment (Feltham Tyres) and they have told me they can't get more than 1 deg -ve on the front with the standard bolt. I am looking for 1.5 deg. My question is, will using Whiteline camber bolts instead of the originals give me another 0.5 deg. Or will I have to put the Whiteline bolts in the bottom holes as well as the standard adjustable bolts in the top?

Fit the Whiteline camber bolts in place of the stock bolts and you will get what you want and maybe about 2 deg neg max.
Thought about putting a set in the rear struts too?

Andy at Power Station does not approve of this method, and I think it is due to putting the CV in the hub at an acute angle.
Having said that I have the bolt and the MRT type top mounts that are set to max neg camber (2.5 deg) and have had no probs for 3 years.

It's not because of the acute angle of the CV joint but the fact you have two much smaller bolts in the hub assembly and the fact two camber type bolts will not hold it as rigidly as leaving one full size OEM bolt. (in the bottom hole)

Your best bet will be to fit some Noltec top mounts off of Mocom racing, that way you'll get both loads of camber and castor.
You'll be looking at around £200 for the top mounts (I got mine in a group buy at £188 or something)

Camskill were selling a pair of camber bolts for £25. Not sure how they compare to the Whiteline stuff in quality.

I have the Noltec street mounts (MRT were selling them once via TEG Sport) set at max caster/camber, and the camber bolts are used to fine adjust the side-to-side settings.
But for the cost, you may as well do the rears and take the benefit of the alignment job?

Is this for the UK version different then? I got -1.5 degrees no problem on the front - rears needed camber boilts though
Need to pay another visit to Powerstation to take to -2 degrees as what the hell the cars off the road 10 months of the year with Turbo/other issues

Not all cars come out the same Steve, factory tolerances are ermm "a bit ****" to be honest !
A few classics I've done haven't gone much past 1,10.

Graham, yep I have mine set at max castor and camber.

5 1/4 degrees of castor
and 2.00 degs of camber.

I stuck a camber bolt in both rears tonight looking for more rear camber but in my rushing (after work wanting to get outta there) I put the tabs out Doh! as I do every day with normal cars.. :iamwit

what have you found a good rear setting to be as one of the work guys said anything over 1,40 made little difference but did make it very unhappy on road driving the further you went.
going for 2,00 anyway if only just to stop the rears buzzing the arches with the fat trackday slicks on lol
