Steering Question
Hi people,
i just had a question about steering/handling.
Q1) My steering is really heavy compared to my friends subaru's i got the following on my car:
I got GAB Coilovers
I got Struts Front and back.
is there any reason for it being really heavy?
Q2) Sometimes there is a click sound when i apply the brakes, is this a sign of anything or is it nothing to worry about?
Thank You for your help.

increased castor would make the steering heavier, have you got ajustable top mounts on the front?
There's the possibility of the bearing in the strut top having failed or may be fitted incorrectly (how many struts have I seen now with that dammed washer up the wrong way )
Or it could be a problem with the powersteering
or your tyres are wider than his
or the tyres pressure are low...
1001 things really but there's a few to check out first.

I didn't mean adjustable damping...
I meant are the top mounts them selves "non standard" i.e they would/could be used to increase castor and therefore make the steering heavier.
