I'm also looking at possibly fitting New Shocks!
Are KYB's what people recommend without shelling out too much dosh ??
If so Camskill are offering these at following price:

My MY00 was on 70k when I sold it, and they were still going strong.
That said, I was still on the original clutch too, so maybe I just didn't drive the car as enthusiastically as I should have. Shame it wasn't still on the original engine really!

Very reasonable, actually - £8900, for a UK car, 4.5 yrs old with PPP and Prodrive 17" wheels, 70k on the clock and a full engine rebuild 9k miles earlier.
