Default How much should Eibach springs lower your car

Hi, I fitted some Eibach springs two weeka ago and was wondering how much should Eibach springs lower a classic turbo my00? I was told when i brought them 30-35mm. Before fitting i think the gaps between the tyre and arches where as follows, front 70mm, back 50mm. Now it is front 50 (-20mm) and rear 33 (-17mm), which is nowhere near what they said.

Realistically about 20-25mm.
Eibachs are all about improving the handling & not about slamming the car. They may settle a bit lower given time though.

This seems to be a common thread...by all accounts the do gradually settle down a bit, but the handling is what it's all about

Cheers for the responses. I just hate havin big gaps between the arches and the wheels, but did not want to lower it to much and everyone seemed to go for the eibachs. How long should i let the springs settle down for before getting the geometry set up?

Got them from ripspeed in a halfods store. They priced matched them for me, about 150 i think as i have had them for a while and cant remeber the exact amount. My dad and i fitted them one weekend. Just need to get the geometry set up now.

Guys, springs set with time so expect them to settle down lower within a few months. They always "creep" a little to their predesigned position to within a few months, and stay there for a good few years. When you've overused them and theyre long in the tooth, they'll drop a bit more still.
