Supension set up progress report
FOR UK 96 CLASSIC
November Eibachs and koNI inserts - felt a big improvement for abour 2 weeks
December - Whiteline ALK kit + Mid adjusted Rear ARB- noticeable improvement
late January - Front Strut brace - noticeable improvement on Turn in
last week fitted whiteline front ARB and tightened rear to firmest setting-
only now am i finally happy with the allowed fast in and flat out corner exit. Now finally reday for power upgrade. No snap out power off noted, hope the front to rear bias is corect
Prior to my scoob- my last cars modded 200sx and std E36 m3 EVO felt better sorted - but not now.
Now its time for a power upgrade- too many hot hatches being introduced , want to blow these away in a straight line too!

Pests arn't they!
Easy to catch them, but you have to be hard on the clutch, ie revs and dump it.
Good luck with the engine. Glad to see someone else get the chassis right first, engine second.

Not been wet yet just windy, will start on roads i know and increase the speed in increments, i think the Front strut brace helps too , keeping the geometry in check.
to be honest i it should be better , except as always with tuned suspension, dreaded snap out happens without much prior warning.

Thanks for the reply Mark.
I have a MY00 with Eibachs, Whiteline rear arb (middle setting for the winter) and droplinks, bumpsteer mod and Powerstation geometry. I find very little or no understeer on the roads and am keen to keep it this way. I have often been tempted to uprate the front arb but a few people do complain of increased understeer particularly in the wet.
Would appreciate your thoughts once you've had a good run in the wet.
911 - I know what you're going to say
