wanting to stop the bodyroll and reduce the understeer of a MY99.. what is the best way of going about this ?? heard about geometery set-ups and drop links.. or would a set of uprated lowering springs, such as eibachs help??

Improve strut mounts

these will make a huge difference.

KYB AGX struts
with Eibach springs is a very popular setup

Prodrive Springs (P1) are quite nice as well.

Stiffer all around spring rates
complimented by heavier struts = less body roll

better turn in
better center of gravity
and much improved overall handling

Put some whiteline anti roll bar droplinks on it for starters. £32 pair +p&p from Demon Tweeks. Tightens chassis up nicely without making it uncomfortable. Easy to do yourself and an excellent mod for about £70. They impressed me, subtle but definately noticeable, makes the standard anti roll bars work harder reducing roll.

Uprated front and rear ARB from whiteline and solid rear drop links will do what you want nicely for very little cash and a good geometry alinment from someone like micheldever.

Would agree with that. It all depends on how hard/useable you want your car and your budget. I'm sure we could all go mad with your cash making it corner & handle like a dream, but most likely the reality is that it still has to remain useable day to day.

Probably the best way forward is to do one mod at a time as your budget allows, and this way you can feel the worth of each mod rather than spending loads in one go and not liking it. That way you can stop when it feels just right, which obviously is a matter of personal preference.

Solid rear drop links, whiteline ARB, ALK, bumpsteer mod and geometry setup, about £450 the lot from powerstation - leave the shocks/springs til later, these are the important ones....
