Question New suspension for a classic?

The car is MY99 v-plate.What the best suspension to go for? Where to buy, prices etc....The car doesnt seem to handle to good and is still on the original suspension at 50k.Ive got 17s fitted. Is their anything else i should be doing at the same time, bushes etc? Cheers.
Forgot to say,had the geometry set up and this made it slightly better but not much.

Just need a rough idea of a decent set of springs/springs+dampers,price to buy,fit etc.Dont want to rattle me teeth out with a rock hard ride! but dont mind a firm ride.

Well you've just missed out on the KYB AGX damper group buy, fabulous bit of kit (adjustable damping) and they were just over £300, think normal price is about £400. I'm running mine with the standard springs (reading the bumpf that comes with them, they're designed with this in mind) and the ride is definately a bit more jiggly over ripples and the like, but you can throw it around and it feels a lot more controlled, and with a 22mm ARB, heavy duty ARB mounts and solid drop links all round there's not much body roll.

If you find any, low mileage STi5/6 dampers are a good buy, helped my mate fit some to his 98wagon, and with the STi springs its firmer to mine, but not much in it imho.

For a few hundred quid you won't get any better than the KYB AGX adjustables with Eibach Pro Kit Springs.

I run mine at setting 3 on front and 6 at rear - Wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!
