Question Can you adjust rear camber on a MY98 wagon?

I have a 98 uk wagon and have noticed that the rear camber is different on the back wheels. The rear near is on a negative setting and the rear off is vertical or slightly positive. Having searched previous threads I am a little confused.

a/ there seems to be mixed opinions about if they are adjustable at all?
b/ some advocate camber bolts - what are they and are they easy to fit?
c/ If they are not adjustable why are mine different?

Any help gratefully received

AFAIK only the toe is adjustable on the rear, but there is enough play in the mountings to move the suspension enough to get both wheels at the same camber. Thats what Micheldever Tyres do anyway. Yours are probably different 'cos the factory just bolt them up as they come - tolerance is wide enough for a significant difference. Don't know what camber bolts are unless they are bolts with an offset in the shank to allow camber to be adjusted?

You'll need some rear camber bolts to adjust it

Are these easy to fit? Would I need any special skills?

They're easy to fit, you'll need a camber gauge though. You could probably rig something up with a plumb line.

Thanks - used a set square to work out they were different so should be able to get them close before getting the tracking checked. Any ideas as to makes?? Others on here seem to rate whiteline? Anyone any experience of fitting them? Do they just swop for the oem bolts?

Yep, whiteline are fine.

Remove the wheel, then the top strut flange bolt and nut - cast aside. Slacken the lower nut to allow the strut to move. Insert the whiteline bolt so that the head faces the front of the car. The outer tab on the washer must be pointing the centre of the car otherwise you'll get positive camber. Get the nut on - but don't lock it. You can then rotate the head of the bolt to adjust the rear camber.
