Tyre choice plays a rule as camber settings but I guess you already have more than factory rear camber due to lowered rear suspension.

Mine does the same, lowered, and on 18x7 OZ prodrives- it just rubs the arch on the drivers side enought to make a noise and take a tiny bit off the sidewall.

I am running the 225 tyres that should be ok on a new age.

Their are only two options; roll the arches, or go to 215 section tyres as you would run on a classic.

Curiously though it only rubs on the drivers side, regardless of how the car is loaded (before I get any 'fat ****' jokes )
