Just bought a 53 plate sti, when on bumpy roads there is a knocking noise from the rear offside suspension. Is this a 'characteristic' of the car or does it need looking at?

 

We just did our 4 corners with new struts n springs, totaly transformed the car AND cured the knock from back N/side. The strut was leaking badly, so might be worth a look at yours, it might be the same prob!
