I have my P1 booked into Powerstation in a coupl eof weeks time for their Anti-Bumpsteer alignment work. Has anyone ever had this done to the P1 or an Impreza? was there an improvment? worth the cash?

Cheers for any help and advice.

I'm getting my Terzo done on the 29th.

Judging by the posts here it does sound like quite an improvement.

I am looking forward to having it done as it seems to be the best thing to do to solve that problem.
I'll let you know what the results are like on the 24th if you want?

Done anything else to your Terzo?

Still pretty standard at the mo. but going to have the front brakes uprated later this year.

How 'bout the P1?

Thanks for the advice and I can't wait to get mine sorted by them. I am having my first rolling road session in the P1 as well now that it has done 6k miles, is there rolling road really accurate?

The P1 was delivered with the upgraded Prodrive HID lights, Backbox, Brakes and 18inch Gold wheels. Since then I have changed the side & front indicators to clear ones, added a K+N57i Induction Kit, upgraded the headlight & side light bulbs to PIAA bulbs(much better). The final thing was a free flowing CAT + downpipe from GGR.

There isn't much else that I am going to do now, except try and rid the P1 of Bump Steer and that is where Powerstation come in. I would like to see 300bhp and then I would be happy.

After the brakes what do you fancy doing?

Phil

There's loads I'd like to do but the budget don't quite stretch that far at the mo.

One nice improvement I'm doing is running 98RON Shell Optimax seems to make quite a difference.

Shell Optimax is definitely the way forward in my opinion, I have been using it since the day it was launched. Got the majority of the lads in the office on it now.

I am getting better performance and mpg, is it the same for you?

Viper.

Powerstations rolling road, is famouse for being very conservative with scoobs. other cars it seems to be ok on, but with scoobs it seems to come up low.

Power engineering's rolling road however can be very generouse, best thing I supposed is to get the car tested on both and split the difference. have a look at

Thanks for the advice on Powerstation, I haven't heard good things about Power Engineering..have you got first hand experience of them?

Your scooby sounds really nice, good to hear you have a Unichip, I had one fitted on my last car, an Alfa Romeo 156 V6 (Company car) and it made it into a completely different car, who fitted yours? big increase in BHP etc from it?

no experience at all on Power Engineering, so cannot comment on them. I have had all my work done at Powerstation, Top Blokes and Rich is one of the Best unichip mappers there is. Do you still have your unichip? it will work with the P1, thats they joy of the thing, same chip works for most cars.

guess I get about 275bhp out of my UK scoob, which aint to bad. It's as smooth as silk though, Rich can realy map a unichip. Loads of torque as well.

I am beginning to think that I have made the right decision choosing Powerstation. Had the Unichip taken off the Alfa before it went back to the lease company and because the P1 was on order I sold it back to the supplier, didn't loose much £££. Would only ever use a Unichip in the future if I was considering chipping again.

The P1 is so smooth and fast that I am so loathed to touch the engine management in anyway. I think if I remember rightly I got an extra 19bhp out of the Alfa and more torque.

Do you live near Powerstation? if you do come along.
