As the heading says, but I've heard you should buy the dampers aswell but have also heard that it is perfectly o.k. just to use the springs. Probably wont be doing that many track days although I may do a few.
I am wanting to use Eibach's.
P.S My car is a 99 RB5. Will this stiffen the ride aswell as making it handle any better.???????

Many people recommend the Eibachs to go with the standard dampers - they go very well together and there is hardly any noticeable difference in ride quality but a noticeable improvement in handling

I'm getting some Eibachs V.Soon as I have driven a car with and I was very impressed!!!

Pete

i had eibachs on my my99, loved them, lowered 25mm ish but the handling coupled with 17" rims was so much better than standard with little ride comfort loss. if you are going to bedford on friday I know at least 2 people who have this set up. Could blag a ride for you.

Well worth the £220 ish fitted price imho.

cheers simon

eibachs will work superbly with late model factory dampers.. assuming of course that those dampers are in good order.

It's worth spending a little more and having a proper geometry session done after to really release the potential of the chassis. You would be amazed by some of the factory tolerances that we see, even when PDI'ing brand new cars!... scary!
