I've just bought myself some new wheels 17" and would like to lower it 30mm onto them. What springs/suspension does anyone recommend i use to help firm up the ride a little.

My car has Eibachs fitted, and many people have commented how nice it looks on 17's. They didn't drop it by 30mm, but it looks like it.
