CUSCO Comp2 coil-overs vs. DMS Gold 40mm coil-overs vs.???
#1
I'm looking into a coil-over setup for my US-spec Legacy sedan. CUSCO has a sale going on for December, so I'm considering the Comp2 - adjustable ride height, 4 way adjustable damping, camber adjustable top mounts up front. Struts are not rebuildable as far as I know. Spring rates are very high compared to stock (CUSCO is 6kg/mm front, 5kg/mm rear, compared to 2.3 and 2.x front and rear stock!). So, I'm thinking this might be more firm than I really want.
Just yesterday I got some info from DMS-USA about the DMS Gold setup. Adjustable ride height, 20-way adjustable damping (compression and rebound together), camber adjustable top mounts front and rear. Fully rebuildable. Spring rates are much more tame, yet still significantly stiffer than stock (4kg/mm front, 3.2kg/mm rear). This sounds like a pretty nice aggressive street setup, and DMS has a great reputation in the competition world with the 50mm and 60mm struts, but I'd like more customer feedback.
I would much appreciate any comments anybody could give me about the above 2 setups, or about any other coil-over setup you think I should look into. If the setup you can provide feedback on is specifically designed for a Legacy rather than an Impreza, so much the better!
Thanks...

(Yes, you read that right - Stonington. It's right near Norwich, Groton, the Thames River, New London, etc etc here in southeastern New England. )
