i have a 1994 WRX, does anyone know if its worth having a lower strut brace fitted to the front of the WRX?

It depends what you want from the car. For the road the diference will be negligable, if you plan on running on track, especially with slicks then it could be worthwhile.

mainely road use, just the car has one but looks slighty damaged on one side, and the road round where i live are like rally tracks rather than race tracks

Rob, I have a sexy looking MRT aluminium lower front brace on my STiV3. I use the car for road and competition and realy cannot feel a difference. Car has poly bushes everywhere in the suspension which I think has a greater control effect (and an increase in noise)
Personally, if you take yours off I doubt you will notice.

i have taken it off now and i think it rides a bit better as it was slighty damaged on one side
