Are there any distinct advantages from having the alloy Whiteline solid drop links over the steel ones apart from a small weight reduction?

Dan.

The alloy ones are stronger; there was an issue with some of the steel ones breaking when used with big (22 or 24mm) anti-roll bars.

The whole reason to replace the std plastic jobs was to reduce "flex". You could argue that stronger alloy ones would reduce flex even further.

Whether this is actually measurable or even noticeable is open to debate. I have the Whiteline drop links with a 22mm adjustable Whiteline ARB and haven't any any problems.
