It does help, but if you only ever drive on motorways it would be a waste of money. For track days you'd definitely notice the difference.
In my experience, being a wagon owner (with no back seat, obviously), the rear strut brace made a *far* more noticeable difference. Couldn't recommend them highly enough for all the 5-door owners.

I was very impressed with the effects on the handling on mine.. reduced the understeer and the steering remained more uniform through the bend.. no need to correct mid-bend etc.. never noticed how much it flexed at the front until I fitted the brace.
