sti8 + prodrive springs - geometry
#1
Hi,does anyone have any advice as to how a normal person (i.e. non mechanic) can check what the geometry settings are? Having had the springs fitted I'm just keen to see if the settings were changed at the same time.

If you could park close and parallel to a wall you knew was perpendicular to the very flat piece of ground your car was on, the measurement from the top of the rim of your wheel to the wall should be 0.0218xdia. of your wheel rim more than the measurement from the bottom of the rim to the wall. (sine 1.25deg.x wheel rim dia.) This will check the new front wheel camber! Now you've only got the front and rear toe to check! Yep, it's easier to go to a good tyre place who can check camber as well as toe.
