I paid £190 for thr springs and £170 for the fitting using the SIDC dicount at Spartshats in Botley.
X2WRX,

I swear the fronts on mine look a bit lower, although it could be an illusion. I hope the garage who fitted yours re-fitted the top spring cups in the right position? See my posting in the "New Prodrive springs finally out for the STi8" thread.

After going to Trax 2003 I decided to get the new MY03 Prodrive springs fitted to my STI8 PPP.
Wow...what a difference!
The car does sit lower and gives the external impression of being a little more purposeful and less top heavy compared to the standard setting.
The turn in is far more sharp with much less body roll.
I haven't yet put the 18" wheels on yet but to be honest the extra firm suspension is compensated by the extra tyre wall rubber so the drive isn't bone crunching.
I need to be pursuaded hard before I committ to the 18" wheels even now.
Has anyone else done this upgrade and found a different experience?

Mines a MY98 with a very low and rock hard suspension setting... it looks mean but doesn't like the smallest of potholes n hates speed bumps other than that its brilliant at handling

Got both the 18" PFF7's and the springs, the handling is superb.
The ride is on the firm side, but not at a level that spoils the driving experiance.
Go on spend the extra on the wheels, if nothing else it looks the dogs.

Take a look at the other Prodrive spring set thread on here for more comments.
I fitted the springs myself at the weekend and had the geometry set on Tuesday. I need to drive some quick bits of road to finally make up my mind but so far around town it feels good. I already have the 18" FF7's with Toyo's and the lowered stance does look good. You find yourself looking back at it when you park and walk away! The extra negative camber on the front wheels is noticable. If you have 18's make sure wherever you go to have it fitted that they can re-set the geometry with this size of wheel, not all places have got the equipment to go beyond 17's
The Geometry was done on a fancy and very expensive laser device and I got a complete before and after readout of the complete geometry set up of the car.

Steve,
I've got the gold 7 spoke PFF7's, retail price with Pirelli tyres is £1800 inc vat.
Some dealers may give a part ex price for your current wheels.
Cheers

Prodrive springs were fitted to my car today. Very pleased with the results. The car looks better being a bit lower and most importantly there is no more bouncing. Here are a couple of pictures...

Yes they are 18" prodrive OZ's, glad you like them.
"As a ROUGH guide for the front the distance from wheelarch to centre of the wheel is a touch over 14" on mine."
On mine the distance is 14 1/4" for the front and 13 1/2" for the rear.
