I have just found out what has been causing the knocking noise which has been coming from the left rear of my Scoob.
It turns out it's the shock that is moving/knocking. I had someone in the back with the rear seats out and he could feel the top of the shock move when driving and also happened at the same time that the knocking noise occured.
My question is, would it be the shock its self or is there a rubber top mount type thing that could be warn?

Yep sounds same prob as what I have. I am glad I now know what it is just don't wanna buy another rear shock when it's a top mount or something?
If you can get someone sitting in the back with the seats out and put their hand on top of shock they will probably feel it move when you hear the knocking sound.
Mine also done it at slow speeds like when coming upto or out of a junction i.e. when the weight moves of that side of the car thus allowing the shock to move.
Anyone got any ideas how much a shock or top mount would be or even know if it would be one or the other?

I have the same problem, I'm sure it's the top mounts...see this thread on the sidc website.
