Just a quick question... what are the pillowball uppermounts when they're at home then... and what do they do to the handling if I fit them (classic MY00)

Thanks

Cool

Pillowball topmounts replace the OE rubber mounting bushing with a precision made metal ball and socket joint. This will improve suspension accuracy and efficiency by eliminating unwanted "compliance" movement in the bushing. This will also increase the amount of NVH (Noise Vibration Harshness) transmitted from the road to the cabin and it's occupants. Its a compromise, as always.

Most Pillowball topmounts will offer, in addition to the ball and socket joint that gives them the name, facilities to adjust camber, and possibly castor too at the topmount. These facilities, if present, will increase the range of adjustment available on the suspension system beyond that which is available fron the stock OE setup. This can be a good thing when correctly setup.
