Phase3 pack @ TSL???
#3
Hiya
I had this fitted a few months back by TSL and am really chuffed with the results for the money. A lot of the understeer has been dialed out, it reduced the tramlining ( but most of this went when i got rid of those crap bridgestones that dealers love ), and the squirming under braking also disappeared. All the things that disapointed me about the scoobie ( apart from the interior off course ) were sorted out by his mod.
The Eibachs dont make much difference to the ride quality or ride height. I would have expected less body roll after but then i was used to an fto that had a adjustable koni kit / avo springs and was stiffer than a stiff thing that one last years stiffy contest.
I'll probably add front/rear strut braces + the antilift kit at somepoint soon ( maybe stiffer roll bars ) just to go that xtra bit.
Cheers
Rich

well had it done, and can honestly say.. I like it!
Ride is slightly firmer, but oh so much more controlled at high speed over bumps... and she handles like a friggin go kart now!!! well chuffed,
thanks to Graham @ TSL for fitting me in last minute to get it done..and to John for getting loads done on the same day (had other wiring done and general engine bay tidy up)
**still got droplinks to go on as they came thru faulty... to be fitted this week**
all in all; its gets my vote and money well spent.

Chrome,
Have you had the rear anti roll bar drop links fitted yet.
If so do they make much difference.
I cant decide whether to go for the phase 2 or phase 3 set up.
Is the phase 3 worth the extra money?
Graham.

um, tbh having the rear drop links done only seems to have ever so slightly made it easier to get the tail out on fast and tight corner entry...
no NVH issues tho..
Id save the money tbh..
Spose I wont really notice til I go on track and get some new tyres!
(it handles well beyond limits of tyres which currently do need chagning..)
with new tyres .. well I cant wait

Hi Grahame
Im by no means an expert but apparently its these that help to reduce the understeer as they remove some of the flex in the suspension geometry. As I had this done all at the same time its a bit difficult to tell their benefit in isolation.
Ive also heard they make bugger all difference as the standard subaru ones ( well the plastic between the bushes ) is ok under load anyway. If this is the case then I suppose the bush alone will at least last much longer than the standard rubber ones.
Cheers
