Bilstein are just starting to sort a coilover kit out for the Subaru. Just trying to gauge interest really. They will be around £850.

Sound like something people might be interested in, you think?

Are these the Pss? The height adjustable/fixed damping kit? I've been looking at these but can't get any info on the spring rates .

bilstein will NOT release any info to agents so we are as much in the dark as you.....think they suspect industrial espionage or something.......
these kits have been around for some time now, but were recalled due to some well publicised damping issues.....now, apparently resolved!!

These are new sets, also called PSS. I understand the PSS-9's were the ones you guys tested and hated LOL Apparently the dampers had been incorrectly valved, meaning the rates were completely wrong and they felt horrible. These are whole new kits. Stockcar, you're right, Bilstein will not discuss spring and damper rates so we have to take their word for it - something which I've told them will probably not wash with people who have had bad experiences with the faulty PSS-9's, but that's their decision.

These are apparently whole new kits which are not even released yet. They will start to arrive in the country next month I think.

So like i said these are the pss kits (not the pss9s). These have been in the latest demon tweeks catalogue for a while now (£850ish if i rember right). Very similar to the Kw variant 1s? Didn't know they weren't avaliable yet. For me personally it would be very hard to change my suspension (uprated springs and dampers already) without knowing the spring rates im going to..... bad move by Bilstein IMHO.

Plus i thought that Bilstein had issued a statement saying they had adjusted the valving on the rears for MY01/02 kits but in their opinion there was nothing wrong with the kit for the classics????
