Im just about to take delivery of my first scooby. An MY96 wrx sti V2. As far as im aware the suspension is standard. If i can afford it, it will get a set of 18's, but at the moment i cant so 17's will have to do. Wot is the max i could lower it by with out it rubing on the arches etc? Bearing in mind im in Edinburgh and we got voted worst roads in the UK!!!!
I just wanted to get springs the now then see how it will handle our roads then think about if i want my teeth rattled out!!!
Cheers

The STI supension set up is usually firm anyway so you don't need to go stiffer just a little lower if thats your bag. They also sit slightly lower than uk models so the springs might not lower your car as much as they say.
If you want the ultimate get some fully adjustable suspension you can have it almost as low as you want within reason.
Cost about a grand though!
MRT do some good springs with a 30mm or 45 mm drop.
