1 Wheel alignment
#1
Since I have had the car my passenger front wheel has looked different to drivers side.
The wheel is sticking out more and the top, pretruding past wheel arch. My tyre has been wearing more on the outer edge and the steering always goes to the right when I let go of the steering wheel.
I have had the laser alignment done 3 times at 2 different garages and they say the alignment is okay.
It is difficult to explain and will take some pics if needed.
Cheers
Scott

It looks like my friend's WRX did before he took it to Powerstation for some new tyres and an alignment check.
Unfortunately there aren't that many garages that can measure camber - most cars don't have adjustable camber, so I suppose a lot of garages don't know it's an issue on the Scoob. I set the camber on my car using a flat patch concrete, a large tri square, a tape measure and some chalk, so it's not difficult to set approximately, and you can get tools to set it properly.
The trouble is that changing the camber also changes the toe (tracking) a little bit on the wheel that you change.
To adjust the front camber on the Scoob there's 2 bolts on the bottom of the front dampers. The top one is eccentric, so as you turn it, the top of the hub moves in and out changing the camber.
There's a good FAQ on www.whiteline.com.au about suspension settings.
That reminds me - I must get my car tracking sorted out sometime soon... Just not sure what settings I should have.

I would get your car to Powerstation to get them to sort it out!! They should be able to fix it for you as they will do a proper 4 wheel alignment including camber and toe (tracking) together.
Sounds like you will need some new tyres either just before or just after though on the front!
Good Luck,
Matt
