Question

I am running an rb5 with ppp on 17s (215/40/17 tyres)which i am quite happy with, but am lately beginning to feel the suspension set up is not quite as firm as i'd like. I was wondering if somebody could suggest a good suspension setup for 17s. lowering isn't really an issue - just a firmer ride with less body roll. in fact I'm not sure that lowering is wise on 17s???? (if it is how much can you lower without affecting the handling?) i'm not too keen to take an angle grinder to the arches or anything. I am also thinking of getting an anti lift kit. similar. any suggestions or recommendations?

You wont have to grind your arches with 17's if you stick to using good quality sensibly lowered springs i.e. upto 40mm ish. You would have to go pretty low for them to catch.
