whiteline solid drop link snaped/broke

one of my whiteline drop links have snaped
passenger side rear, would i be able to get another under warrantee?
has anyone else had any similar problems?

my car is a UK MY00, solid drop links all arounnd and rear ARB on hard setting

Sounds like a manufacturing fault to me. They should never snap considering the OE ones are plastic and flex. There can't be that much force going through them and the metal ones should easily be able to cope.

I'm sure whoever you got them from would be happy to replace them after only 5 months.

Do you have the ARB too? If the rubber bushes are not greased well, they can lock up....considerably increasing the force taken by the links...causing them to fail.

The Aussie's actually remove the blue paint from the roll bar to be on the safe side....

Had exactly same problem!
I welded it temperorily until whiteline.au send me one free of charge ( i paid postage)

dowser, yes got the rear ARB too, set on hardist setting has that got something to do with it?

Check the 2 yellow ARB bushes - I reckon there'll need stripping and regreasing

Can I just ask - what (replacement) grease should be used here? the blue (evil smelling) stuff supplied only just does the job to begin with.
