Sorry for the seemingly idiotic question (I am better at ECUs than oily bits ) - will I have to adjust the bumpsteer after fitting coilovers?

The steering arms are fixed to the hub so the tie rod angle should not change when the dampers are replaced. The rest of it will need set again though, Camber and tracking.

Unless the ride height is lowered.

I have the Leda, and when the BS angle was checked, if anything it needed to be adjusted the opposite to normal. This can't be done.

I was considering having BS done after Ledas are fitted (325/225).

Are you saying that BS cannot be done or does not need to be done with Ledas fitted? (I think this lowers by about 3 to 4 cm)

Jules,

The Bump Steer mod is not a change by a specified amount so it would still be worth getting it done once you have Leda.

Depending on how stiff your new set-up is, it will probably become 'rebound steer' more than bump steer anyhow

John:

If your bump mod has already been done it will not need to be altered. Ride height is imaterial.
