I belive thay are the guys who were making the shoks for AVO, I belive they decided to go on their own as they weren't happy on making the shocks to a budget price when they new they could do better. So i think they told avo to go away and sold their revised range direct. Also loosing the LAX Power tag has helped!

I think the guys and the tooling is probably what was based in the AVO factory in jersey that was previously a spax factory too. Hence they do all the kits for classics and lever arm replacement kits.

I have been given the price by Tony at Zenith Motor Sport in Swansea 01792 464666. They could probably do a mail order job if you were interested. Give him a ring

Enquired at Dampertech (GAZ shocks) and they said they didn't do any kits for the legacy?

Did you specify them for a legacy or impreza (fit is same, springs will be different).

Thumbs up

Hi Guys

we are currently developing the GAZ coilover kit for classic Impreza with them and have been running the set up in it's many various versions for nearly 6 months now

The build quality as mentioned is excellent, adjustability is very good... and we are finally nearly there on damper rates and valving. Should have it cracked before Christmas

If you would like any info please call me .. would be happy to chat. The old Trouser express is loving life on it's set. Certainly prefer them to my old AVO's.. easier to adjust too!

Cheers

Paul

As I suspected, the ISO 9000 bit gave it away, as Gaz claim they are the ONLY ISO 9000 approved mfg of shocks.
