Wallowy feel to suspension
#1
Hi guys,
Just had new tyres fitted and require teh geometry set up done.
When coming off motorways and through constant radius bends the car feels quite wallowy and unstable.
Could this be due to teh geometry needing set up or are the shocks gone.
MY99 with 50k
Any ideas
Cheers

I would think that it is gometry related at first read. However, check your dampers for leaks before parting with cash for having a geometry setup!
I need to have the dampers replaced on my MY96 (done 70k miles, mostly on fairly rough roads) so it is possible that they have worn out, especially if you drive the car hard.

it doesn't mean the shocks are goosed but rock the car like your trying to roll it over and if it doesnt settle in 1 and a half sways, the shocks are worn.
if the geometry was way out, you would notice it at any speed.

mate wi garage has just got a new laser geometry thingy, so as
mot due next week, gona get prodrive settings done. If it still
feels crap, its gona have to be the dampers. let ya know hows it
