Whiteline ALK, sw. links etc on STi
#2
IMHO, if you want better turn-in and a little better out of the corner performance, the ALK will help (yes, even on an STi). If you like to load the rear heavily coming out of corners, heavy duty links certainly seem to feel better (a friend of mine has Prova rear links on his GD STi and they added a bit of extra rigidity to the feel of the rear over standard, can't say about the Whiteline links coz I have no experience with them on an Impreza).

hrubago,
the sti has solid drop links as standard on the front so you wont need them. whiteline links are clearly stiffer than the OEM sti links but uprated ARB's are needed to feel the effect. The ALK may make a difference on a standard car but if you have uprated the suspension alot dont bother. i think it's the stiffer a-frame rear mount bush that improves turn-in etc, not the relocation of the pick up point. basically, fit powerflex bushes while your underneath it, then leda coilovers, then uprated ARB's, then rear drop links. all my opinions of course.

Thanks. My question i put here because I have MY00 turbo with whiteline ALK, and SW. links and STi3 wagon with Leda suspension. I want to build the best sedan for me and standard wagon (for my wife). And thinking about parts i will change between the cars. (sure that will be engine, gearbox etc, but not sure about whole suspension...........)

On my MY02STi I've recently had fitted at Powerstation:
ALK
Adjustable rear ARB (set on the softest setting for the road)
Drop Links
Uprated rear ARB Mounts
+ Geom of course
Just like on my MY00 with the ALK/BSM, the feel and poise when cornering has improved noticably. I would recommend these changes to any STi (and WRX) owner!!
