Question

After reading K9VYN's thread about ARB, I think I had better do something!
I have recently fitted a stronger rear ARB to my Forester T/tb but have done nothing about the links, they remain original. It looks like I need to change to steel ones.

1. Are the links on the Forester the same as the Impreza ? (I expect they are)

2. Are they easy to change ?

3. Will tracking/alignment need resetting?

If you know the answer/s please let me know.

Thanks

Brian

1. I think so
2. Yes
3. No

Off the top of my head though, the Forester has a thiner ARB than the Impreza as standard so upgrading it may only make it the same as the standard Impreza. In this case, you may not need to. The drop links that are easy to get hold of are MRT and are sold by Powerstation, Scoobymania, Town End etc.etc.

Thumbs up

Thank you Matt.
The replacement ARB is from an Impreza Turbo- 21mm dia- so if the standard set up uses the plastic links then it will do for the Forester, at least until a later date. The car is not used for track days , just every day motoring.
