Question

I am driving an about 4.5/3.5cm front/rear lowered Scooby MY00 Sedan with 215/40/17 (P7) wheels and a LEDA B suspension. Yesterday I gave my car a fully laser alignment job at my local specialist. They fixed the track, that was slightly shifted etc. (Finally the steering wheel is straight!)
Here comes my Problem:
The Technician saw that the Camber on the front wheels were set at -ive 1.39" and they wanted to change them to a more positive camber like -ive 0.8"). The thing was, that they couldn't change the camber to a more positive amount, the camber adjustment bolds on the LEDA's are already adjusted to max!! Is it possible to change the camber to a more positive amount? Will the inside tread of the tires be 'eaten up' or should I be save with the camber settings at 1.39"??
(I am not sure if they measured the camber degrees in 'minutes' or 'degrees', but the number was surely 1.39 on both sides).
Many thanks for your thoughts!

swiss scooby, -1.5 wont do any harm to your tyres. -2 is still OK. you could get camber plates or drill the top hole in the leda's a little bit if you really want to go more towards positive.

Kippax,
Thanks for the info!
I phoned the alignment-garage again for the correct numbers (they didn't give me any print-out!) The technician gave me the following camber settings, that I currently drive:
Front left: -1.45
Front right: -1.16
Rear left: -1.0
Rear right: -0.55
Next time they should bring the left/right settings closer together! Cusco camber plates would be VERY nice!! But expensive and overkill in my situation, I guess!

This is a problem with the Leda struts you need some camber bolts I have had to fit them to 2 previous cars to get the camber to the correct settings, Specialty Products Company, part no 81260 14mm bolts for the Impreza are the ones that I have used with no problems
cheers

MrMuscle,
Do you put those Camber Bolts into the lower hole of the struts. i.e. do you have on each strut 2 bolts upper/lower part for adjusting the camber (that would allow more adjustment)?
Where can I find these bolts, do you have a internet site or something? I saw some bolts from Whiteline, but I am not sure if that size would fit into the LEDA struts. Thanks again!

We would set them up with -1.5 neg with a 3mm toe in for a road car. You will not have a problem with inner tyre wear.

Oh my god, am I impressed or what?!? A direct answer from Andy @ Leda Suspension. Thanks a lot!! Nothing beats the Scoobynet! Allow me to tell you Andy that the LEDA B Modification is still by far the best upgrade I have done to my car next to the SS-AP/Brembos!! I am very happy with your product! I won't worry about the tires anymore.

Camber bolts fitted to top strut hole only should give you what you need, there is a web site for the bolt manufacture I know PowerStation keep them in the UK .

I can see from your settings that you opted for a "roundabouts" set up..

I personally preferred a simmetric one.!

Caronte, It might be a 'roundabout' setup in the UK. But since I am (unfortunately?) not living in the UK, it isn't really a roundabout setup unless I am driving 'clockwise' through them! Probably not a good idea?!? Anyway, I still might get those camber bolts or even the Cusco plates, not sure yet. Thanks again for all the answers!
