Question

Have now owned my P1 for 3 days and love it

What I have noticed however is that the steering doesn't seem quite as sharp as my original MY00 turbo. That had the Powerstation bumpsteer mod and geometry, ALK and solid anti roll bar links (and Eibachs).
I've taken the ALK and links off and have those in the garage. I'm thinking about getting the bumpsteer and geometry done to the P1 and was wondering about fitting the ALK to it at the same time......worth it? Any downsides? (can't think of any...)

Ta

I've had a P1 for 2 years now and never really looked in this forum until now. I've had 2 shockers replaced in the last 9-12 months, do you think this is bad? I don't drive the car too hard but then thats debatable I suppose! They start with a knocking noise at slow speed on uneven groud manhole covers etc and progress to a nasty crunch. I assume they have gone dry. Any opinions gratefully recieved.
Also could you tell me what the bumpsteer mod is? I've never heard of it

Cheers Ben

Simon,

Do it, you won't regret it Only downside is a slight increase in cabin noise from the harder front bushes (but you should be used to that from your MY00).
