What struts?
Ok, ok... i thought doing the suspension would be easy... but it has turned out to be a right nightmare!! :/
So after taking my struts off and finding that they are uprooted and looking very ill, i need to buy some more struts. So what should i go for?
I had a really hard ride before, which was crap for Isle of Wight roads…so i got a set of Eibachs. Should i put standard struts back on or go for something else?
Help would be appreciated.

Thought my suspension was a nightmare - I got off lightly.
I'll TTT this for you, as you need to get the car sorted out (in time for the IOW thing would be nice
)
You've heard my comments - match the eibachs with standard dampers, or get a whole STI setup (although the STI setup would be silly for the island I think...)

the harsh ride could have been due to the dampers being worn out, so you get a very bouncy ride, which seems harsh.
New dampers, either standard or slightly uprated might make a world of difference.

HeHe, thanx guys.
I got really disheartened because Graham Goode quoted me about £600 for a set of new shocks for my WRX which i couldn’t afford. So i did some digging around and found that a) KYB made the shocks anyway and b) Subaru used the same kyb socks for both the uk cars and the WRX's up until 1998.
My KYB shocks came yesterday and cost me £198.00 delivered, which I thought was a very good price.
The bad thing is that i won’t be ready for the Isle of wight meet. This will mean i will be the White Scooby at the back bouncing everywhere!! You won’t be able to miss me!
Thanx again for the support guys
