When changing worn out dampers, is it worth changing the rubber bush at the top of the top as well, or is this just an unnecessary expense?

they should be fine unless they are perished and soft.

Thanks for that. They still feel quite hard, so I save a bit of cash there.

Shame about the dampers - I didn't want another weekend crawling around under a car
