Don't sweat on geometry too much. The Impreza has a forgiving chassis. There's totally no need to 'go to a specialist' any Hunter type garage should be ok. Comes down to the tech who is operating it and how keen they are to get the figures clean & equal
Even a 'poor' alignment will vastly improve the way an ill aligned scooby

I used ams in Torquay. The tech was really good, got the specs I gave him bang on. And for £120 they‘ll do 6 or 8 alignments over 2 years.

Thanks for the replies I'm in the middle of both of them so there not too far-away. Called a few places with hunter alignment and prices ranged from £20 per corner to £130 all in
And a high end performance garage I've been recommended were just shy of £200.
£80 or £200 will I notice a massive difference? christ I love sending my self round in circles. Think I'll put up another post to find the ideal settings for a 2004 forester sti on coilovers. Thanks again

^ pretty much, yes

£200 for an alignment is totally taking the **** (I think Chevron, Stafford charge about this much - another 'high end' garage)

I thought £200was a tad expensive and I can spend what I save on petrol giving the fat old girl a bloody good drive, so I followed
Hedgecutters advice and its now booked in with hatton motor sport for an alignment and geometry set up

Don't be put off by where Steven Hatton is based, or his love for derelict Mr2's; his alignment is fastidious.
