Default Hawkeye wrx 27mm front roll bar.

Does anyone no were i can get a 27mm front ARB for my hawkeye wrx I can't seem to find anyone who makes them for the wrx or sells them. I have came across them for an sti however. Will that fit or is there something to do with the mounting points or another reason why that wouldn't fit.

Cheers for any help 👍

I would imagine that a 27mm arb doesn't exist for the very good reason that it would only have a detrimental effect on the car's handling, or the mounts.

Its for a track car and you would find that 22f and 24r is not the best setup for fast tracks that are local to me. Following the advise from chevron motorsport 27f and 24r is what i will be doing. Just trying to peice all my bits together before they set my car up for me will have to give them a call so they can get me one it looks like.

What spring rates?
What tyres?
What front and rear ride heights - wheel centre up to arch?

I was curious, if you use a 27mm front and 24mm rear bar, what springs, tyres and ride heights would be used in conjunction?

To start of with 8kg front and a 6kg rear but this may change depending how the car drives etc. Ride hight dont no yet depends on the coilovers I suppose after finding out how much travel they have before hitting bump stops etc. Tyres currently accelra 651 100 tread wear although I like them currently really nice and progressive tyre with good life I don't think they will be up to the task but may try them first. Sorry if I sounded rude 😅 I just didn't want an online war with people telling me this and that is better lol.

Oh, I've got some thoughts
With Chevron setting it up, then that's your starting set-up - no point adding layers of confusion/opinion.
I'd guess 365mm front, 355mm rear ride heights?

Simon knows what he is doing. I did a lot of work with Chevron to come up with the right setup for these cars.
I used various combos of ARB depending on venue and conditions, usually ended up going stiffer on front ARB than most were using.
We won the 22B sprint championship overall using my daily driver, at a time when the series was very competitive.
Don't take advice on here for handling, just stick to what Simon suggests and you wont be disappointed.

Thats good to hear, the reason I have gone to chevron for the adivse and set up was because of the various lap records I have seen them set in there classes etc and after speaking to them I was very shocked at the advise they had given to be honest as it was so difrent to the normal advise on hear prevosly and other forum's hence not wanting other advise now as they have proven results so thats the way I will go.

Whiteline-wise:
BSF33XXZ is correct
BSF36XXZ is listed for those STI's with higher caster lower control arms - so expect interference, if installing on a WRX, with their lower caster arms.

Yes, but can you find a BSF33xxz?
Otherwise, it's the BSF36xxz and fit the Spec c/'04-06 sti high caster arms.

Why don't you just ask Chevron to supply the correct ARB for you?

For the money you would save is it really worth all the time and risk associated with buying elsewhere? ARB's are cheap even at full retail in the big scheme of things.

I wish i was a moneybags.
I've just plenty of experience of seeing people waste money and time more than they save on buying parts.
