Question

OK....

Having had DMS 40mm coilovers on my P1 and loving every minuite of them, I'm looking for coilovers on my new motor !

So....

Whilst no-one (inc Powerstation) can tell me what spring rating these new Bilsteins are what are peoples thoughts so far ?

Anyone used them in anger i.e; track ?

They are considerably cheaper than DMS and the quality seems spot on !

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated guys

Thanyou in advance

Chris

I have got them on my MY99 for about two months. I do not know the spring rates, but general observation is that they are relatively comfortable. I never used them on a track. I think the setup is more fast road then track. But for fast road I really like them. On bad roads they really keep the tires on the ground with very stable and reliable grip.

you could of course buy the shocks seperate from the springs and spec your own spring rate based on your previous experience. All you need do is ask bilstein if the valving on there kit is suitable for the spring rates you want to use. No doubt they could sell you a set correctly valved if that isnt the case.

Chris.
I have had mine fitted now for about 6 weeks and I am very happy with them.I still have them set at 5 clicks but intend to play with the settings at the SIDC national day.
My Sti 3 was always harsh but with the helper springs on the Billies it doesn't feel that harsh.
Cheers Paul.
