hi everybody,

am pretty new on Subaru. was driven several times by friend who has it and was always impressed by the ride and engine sound. that purring is awesome, reminds me on my old Alfa Romeo 146s with boxer engines. managed to find 2.0R Sport version (2008 model) in fairly good condition and with the LPG installed (am making lot of mileage per day and this makes a lot of difference). think that it is usually marked as G3 version, example photo here


since I could not believe 100% to the seller, I changed time belt, all oils and other liquids plus all brakes. but I think that I can hear knocking on the suspension (bushes). the mechanic warned me that they look quite exhausted.

good friend of mine told me that maybe I should have a look on the 3rd party bushes sets, since they usual much better than the OEM, is that correct?

this Impreza is not WRX nor STI, just regular everyday version (with kinky sound and fun ride). here in Berlin the streets are awefull, so I would be looking for some good suspension improvement

so, first about the bushes. what are the best ones with the regards of longevity and ride comfort? would you recommend some special brand?

second, I wouldn't mind to set it bit higher, any recommendations on that?
