Pedders or eibach coilover

Pedders or eibach coilover
So im tired of being thrown about on my tired bc coilovers. But can not decide between pedders or eibach, i have heard pedders are good, but the stainless bodies and height adjustment on eibach would be a bonus, anybody got any comparisons. Im 99% of time on road with the odd track day planned but it is a second car so not my daily. Most of my miles are bumpy twisty up and down B roads

I wouldn't use any form of coilover, or too low a ride height, on your roads.
If wagon:
KYB Ultra SR struts non-inverted 324034 324035 324036 324037
If saloon:
KYB Ultra SR struts non-inverted 324033 324032 324031 324030. You could use the inverted Ultra SR 321002 321003 321004 321005, but the internal bump stops would need changing.
WA/A2 springs and bump stops.
What size bars are you running?

I'd reduce the size of the front bar back to 20mm for your roads - better ride, better grip.
As you've not, currently, got struts, you're missing quite a few transferable bits.
Front mounts:
Whiteline kca335 off-set
or, a bit cheaper
http://www.pedders.co.uk/pedders-mul..._p31626108.htm I haven't had my hands on these; wonder if there made by Whiteline for Pedders?
Rear mounts:
WA/A2 springs, for design reasons, use Bugeye rear mounts (yes, they fit blob/hawk):
Rear right - 20370AC241 Rear left - 20370AC251
20370AC251 Strut Top Mount L/H Rear Impreza 2.0 STi GDB 00 to 02

They don't use a front lower.

I have actualy bought a spare 20mm front bar as that was the felling I had. Thanks very much for your comments you should put together a complete kit im sure others would also be interested. However adding it all up makes the ez fit good value, are the kyb and oem parts realy best as i dont have to a for bit extra to add onto struts and springs

The fact that Pedders do come as complete units, to bolt on, is great.
But, why make their springs so low and so soft?
Why lower the the 05-07 sti kit so much and, at the same time, reduce the front spring rate to 210lb/in?
How can the 00-02 bug sti Pedders kit and 03-04 blob sti Pedders kit, be the same Pedders kit as the 00-07 wrx (157/128lb/in)? When the oem blob sti spring rates were so different - 223/195lb/in. Or, 200/185lb/in on a bug sti.

If you have the time to do it I'd highly recommend the Koni inserts in stock struts; I've gone from stock WRX stuff which I upgraded to '03 STI stuff (a marked improvement) and then when I blew a strut and couldn't get a replacement, I went for a full set of BC BR's. Even with the softer 5/4 springs they were still crashy and just didn't have enough travel to control the wheels properly which utterly ruined the enjoyment of the car on rough roads for the last three years. So this summer I took the bullet and spent £600 on the inserts. With the STI springs and WRX bump stops the control is perfect on rough and undulating roads while I've basically doubled both droop and bump travel which allows the wheels to properly follow the tarmac without losing traction. Safe to say that I should have gone with the Koni's the first time round and I'm kicking myself that I didn't.

They're selling their lowering kits on convenience, price and lower ride height.
It doesn't matter to them, or the target purchaser, that the ride heights are so low you've limited bump travel - because it's about the look. Or, whether/how the rake affects handling. Or, how the flat ride characteristics are affected by spring rate. Or, how dissimilar their rates and are from what has gone before.
They lowered the front ride heights even further (the revised spec B kit), because purchasers wanted them lower.
If they had the will/market/R&D, they'd be significantly more expensive.
