Default Spring Identification [STI 2005]

Hi Guys,

I need help to identify those springs:

They are black (not just dirt... ), I can update later with the diameter of the coil.

All I know is that they are F****** Stiff, and I do not like the ride.

I doubt they are stock, the car does not look lowered with them or maybe just a bit but nothing obvious.

The 2 pieces of rust (Dampers) are some KYB Ultra SR which according to the KYB website are quite hard.

I would like to get softer springs but I don't know where I am at the moment so it is difficult to choose something different.

By the way I did not even try to read something on them yet...should be something? I am not planning to take them off.

Thanks

Angus

There's no writing on them.
Stock STI rear spring.
Is one of the dampers seized?

Stock!? Really?

I am currently restoring the rear of the car. Wheels did not stay up when lifting the chassis, so don't think dampers are seized.

I will have a check to see if they are seized, but I really doubt it.

Because it feels super harsh I would probably o for some Excel G rather than the Ultra SR.

As someone experienced the difference?

It would be underdamped?

Desc says it should replicate OEM specs..
