just from my experience ,, BC are good value but all my sets have corroded very quickly and don't seem to last the text of time very well ,, iv had better results with tein as they didnt corrode like the bc ones did and still looked like New Years after buying them
yeah thats the general feeling im getting towards bc, teins are only slightly more expensive so will consider them. do the teins offer the pillow-ball top mounts for camber adjustment?
yeah I believe so , one thing I do really like about the teins is the edfc as you can control things from inside the car ,,,, they now do a new one that will ajust things via G sensors so will Harden only whats needed when cornering ,, not sure how well it would work but look a good gadget lol ,, I love gadgets lol
one thing I forgot to say ,, the hawk has headlight adjusters so this can cause a problem when lowering , you need to work out a way of keeping the adjuster in the same place when lowered

Surely that when the car is lowered it's just like having 4 people in it so the headlights would auto adjust then? My car at the moment is very low and I have no problems or warning lights
dont think you get any warning lights it just goes out of its range if you go too low
The headlight adjusters never caused me a problem when I lowered my hawkeye. It generally gets lowered front & back so it sorts itself out. Didn't even need to adjust my headlights, was fine for every MOT after that too.
Yeah mine seems fine and it is really low at the minute. Something to look out for though as a potential issue I guess
You can't compare spring rates between struts and coilovers, they are very different.
But if we're talking coilovers then BCs and MeisterR are both 6kg front & 5kg rear.
Pedders coilovers are harder at 8kg on the front & 6kg on the rear.

considering a new set of hsd mono-pro at the minute
I could be wrong, but I think the HSD coilovers are also 8kg and 6kg as per the pedders units.
IMO, that's ok for a track car, but too much for a road car. But everyone likes their cars differently and I'm sure some will prefer this.

was looking at the has website and you can change the spring rates for no extra cost
