Ignoring the fact of whether or not it is technically possible (i.e. I don't know), I would have thought the damper rates are different between the two struts which would not make it a good idea.

i've just fitted sti shocks to my uk my97 exactly the same fitment and the part numbers were the same, definitely o.k if temporary, but if permanant should really be be changed in pairs
