Default What size is the std Hawk WRX ARB please?

Looking to order some uprated ARB bushes and drop links for my 06 Hawk WRX and can't seem to find out clearly what size the standard anti-roll bars are.

I don't wish to upgrade the bars as it is an every day use road car, just upgrade the rubbers as the current one have started to perish.

Any assistance would be greatly accepted.

Also, if anyone has a recommendation on any particular drop link kit or ARB bushed then that would also be appreciated.

Cheers.

slip a spanner over your ARB, if a 17mm fit snug its a 17mm bar, find correct size and you`re sorted.

Depends when made, June 05 to April 06 is 20mm rear,
April 06 thru June 07 is 17mm rear,

Only size listed for front is 20mm.

Not sure about build date, only have registration date which was late 06 (End Nov 06) which won't help.

Thanks for the info above mate. Guess I'll get under the car and measure them both up to make sure.

Any experience with the uprated drop links like the whiteline or CDF kits?

I'm thinking the 4x ARB main mounting bushes plus the 4x drop links should do the job for now.

Default Arb

Hello, I'm planning on doing exactly the same to my 05 blob wagon (new meyle droplinks and bushes. Possibly replace the arb as it's pretty corroded). So I'd be really interested in how you get on and what difference it makes.

When I get 10 minutes to jack the car up and measure the ARBs i'll get the parts on order and get them fitted. I'll let you know what difference it makes!

Right then, new meyle drop links, front and rear subaru ARBs and superpro poly bushes ordered. All I need now is some decent dry weather so i can fit them! Any idea of what fastners are needed? All the ones currently fitted are one mass of rust...

Ordered all my bits! Did quite a bit of reading up on this so went for the following rather than just getting bushes!

CDF alloy drop link kit (front & rear)
Rear 22mm adjustable whiteline sway away ARB and bush set
Front 20mm whiteline uprated bushes.

Sorted!
