Best lowering springs for 2004 wrx ?
Hi I have a 2004 impreza wrx I will be looking to lower my car was thinking about going 40mm all round with a set of 18s wot do use guys think ? I am just running 17s with standerd hight will this make a big diffrence ?
Prodrive, Eibach and Tein are all good springs. The newage wrx sits very high at the front so yes, lowered on a nice set of 18's will make a nice difference and defo worth the effort..

If your actually interested in how the car rides and handles as opposed to how it looks you need to run 17's and a set of PCA Dynamics springs.
Imprezas don't respond well to being lowered too much and 40mm is too much.
Do a bit of reading in this section and you'll get the general idea.

Have a read of this thread and you'll see my wagon in there and how it looks on these springs and 17's.

Looks amazing mate 👍 I smashed my front bumper in the snow and have just moved house so the car has been out on hold but should be back looking sweet in the next month or 2

My Blobeye WRX is running Sachs Touring Shocks, Eibach Springs, standard ARB's and geo by Powerstation. It runs well, is excellent on a fast flowing road with very compliant handling.

Eibach springs i found to be too soft. i removed them after a week or so and fitted H&R instead. night n day difference
