Different ratio steering rack.

the 22B and some type rs came with a higher geared rack which is 13:1 instead of 15:1 I think. It is 2.5 turns lock to lock I know that.
These are very expensive. I think barratts motorsport may still have some although am not certain.
They bring the steering to life!
Apparently there is a mechanical mod that can be done to the standard rack for a fraction of the price which has the same effect.
You would have to ask Pat about that, but you wont find him on here unfortunately.
If you venture across to bbs.22b.com you will find him lurking there!

Does anyone know if faster steering racks are available for the scoob?
Mine is an STi v3 Wagon, and after a couple of trackdays this year I think it would benefit from fewer turns lock-to-lock in the tight stuff.....
....or I could fit a tiny race wheel I suppose?
